This Seachoice Black Gas Spring provides a compact, lightweight, and highly effective controlled lift assist in applications such as doors, lids, and more, where objects need to be moved, rotated, lifted, or perhaps held in place. The gas spring delivers a controlled rate of extension, and its performance is regarded as being smoother and preferable to that of traditional mechanical spring mechanisms. This Black Gas Spring can be used in applications such as doors, cupboard doors, windows, hinged lids and tabletops, and much more. This spring is 10-In. when extended, and 7.0-In. compressed. It has a 3.0-In. stroke, and 40 pounds of force. It has a P10 end cap. This spring has socket-style end fittings and it fits 10mm balls found on most brackets. The spring’s tube is black powder coated, and the rod is black nitride.
